Open beta

Holdem Solver is free during the open beta. Every account gets the full solver. No card, no tiers, no solve credits. Pricing TBA.

Features

Everything in the beta

One build. Every feature ships to every account during the beta.

2–9 players

Heads-up to full ring

Solve spots with 2 to 9 players, entering on any street from preflop to river. Every seat keeps its own range at every node.

Exact engine

Heads-up postflop, enumerated

Deterministic CFR visits every node on every iteration and enumerates every runout: 1,176 from the flop, 44 from the turn. No sampling, no card abstraction. Every combo is trained on its own.

Convergence

Convergence you can read

Heads-up solves report live Nash distance in big blinds or percent of pot while they train. Preflop and multiway solves report a strategy stability metric with an explicit target.

Tournaments

Full-tournament ICM & PKO

Model the whole tournament: entries, payouts, per-seat bounties, and the stacks at other tables. Malmuth–Harville prize equity with fast payout setup. Tournament state carries street to street. The solve above is a 63-entry PKO.

Table conditions

Antes, straddles, limps, rake

Independent blind values, live straddles and double straddles, limped pots with isolation sizing, and rake with a preflop on/off switch. Sizes display as multiples of the live blind.

Trees

Betting trees you control

Opens, 3-bets, and 4-bets in big blinds. Postflop sizes in percent of pot. Raise caps, limp trees, and fixed-limit hold'em. Optimal-size mode tests every candidate size and finishes the best one.

Drilldown

Street-by-street drilldown

Continue any solve to the next street, from preflop through river. Each seat arrives with the exact range the previous street's strategy gave it.

Precision

Two precision settings

Preflop solves run at two precision settings: Low for fast exploration, High for final answers.

Ranges

Bring your own ranges

Import your own ranges for later-street solves. Files from other solvers read as-is, and standard notation is supported throughout: AA, AKs, TT+, A2s+, weights with @ or :.

Your data stays yours

Ranges, solve files, and results are stored on your machine. Only the account, sign-in, and update checks touch the internet.

Engine

Two algorithms: heads-up and multiway

Heads-up postflop solves exactly. Multiway spots run a sampled solver built for bigger trees.

Exact

Heads-up postflop

Deterministic CFR

  • Every node, every iteration. The full tree is visited on each pass. Nothing is sampled away.
  • Every runout enumerated. 1,176 turn-and-river combinations from a flop entry, 44 rivers from a turn.
  • Every combo evaluated individually. No card abstraction. Blocker effects are exact.
  • Live Nash distance. Best-response against the training strategy, reported in big blinds or percent of pot while it runs.
Sampled

Preflop & multiway

External-sampling MCCFR

  • Two to nine players, entering on any street, chip EV or ICM.
  • Lossless preflop classes. The standard 169 hand classes group hands that differ only by suits. No information is lost.
  • Two precision settings. Preflop solves run at Low or High precision.
  • Stability metric. Convergence is tracked as a full-tree strategy delta against an explicit target.

Accuracy

Accuracy you can verify

The solver is checked against known results.

CheckedResultAgainst
Heads-up 10bb push/fold SB jam 58.4% · BB call 37.3% Published Nash tables
Three-handed 10bb button jam 28–34% first-in Published consensus
ICM equity 38.5 / 34.0 / 27.5% Malmuth–Harville textbook case

For your own spots, heads-up solves report live Nash distance while they train, in big blinds or percent of pot. The number measures the tree you configured.

Workflow

Configure, solve, drill down

Configure

Game, seats, entry street, stacks, blinds and straddles, ranges, bet and raise sizes, raise cap. Review the tree before you launch.

Solve

Watch it converge in real time. Live iteration counts and quality readouts while it trains: Nash distance heads-up, the stability metric multiway.

Browse

Browse decision nodes, action mixes, and per-combo rows. A stopped solve keeps a browsable partial result.

Drill down

Continue a solve to the next street. Each seat arrives with the range the previous street gave it, and tournament stack state carries from preflop through river.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Holdem Solver?

A hold'em solver that runs on your own machine. Build any spot from 2 to 9 players, solve it on any street for chip EV or ICM, and browse the full strategy in your browser. No-limit and fixed-limit.

Is it really free?

Yes. During the beta every account gets the full solver: all engines, all seat counts, no solve credits, no card on file. Pricing is TBA.

Can it solve tournaments?

Yes. ICM at every seat count with the whole tournament modeled: entries, payouts, stacks at other tables, and per-seat PKO bounties. The solve at the top of this page is a 63-entry PKO. Tournament state carries street to street as you drill down.

Do solves run in the cloud?

No. Solving runs on your hardware and results are stored locally. No solve credits, no queue.

Why do I need an account?

Beta access is account-gated. You sign in inside the app, and sign-in authorizes solving on your machine. Every account gets full access during the beta.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only to sign in and start a solve. The computation runs locally, and a running solve continues until it finishes.

What do I need to run it?

Windows x64 or macOS on Apple silicon. Memory scales with the size of the tree you configure. Heads-up trees are light; deep multiway trees need more RAM.

How accurate is it?

The solver is tested against published Nash tables and known ICM results. Heads-up solves also show their live Nash distance while they run, so you can see how close the solution is.

Can I use my own ranges?

Yes. Write ranges in standard notation with per-hand weights, or import files from other solvers as-is. Your ranges work as starting ranges for later-street solves.
